In order to take advantage of the Alchemy warranty, the frame must be sent to Alchemy headquarters at the cost of the owner for inspection, with the proof of purchase. Start by contacting Alchemy Bicycles and requesting a return authorization (RA). Please include the RA number on the outside of the box when you ship back to expedite the process. The cost of shipping and any related insurance for the return shipping must be covered by the purchaser. Alchemy will not accept collect shipments or pay for shipping of bicycles sent in for inspection and is not responsible for more than one-way travel expenses.
Submit A Warranty Application
Alchemy will provide the sole remedy for all warranty cases, and this document replaces any warranty that might otherwise be implied or imposed by law or custom. All oral representations and all implied warranties, including but not limited to any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, warranty of merchantability, or warranty created by course of dealing or usage of trade, are expressly disclaimed to the greatest extent permitted by law. If any implied warranties cannot be disclaimed, they shall last no longer than the term of the Limited Warranty stated above, and any remedy is limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts with those of equal or greater value at the sole discretion of Alchemy Bicycles. In no event shall Alchemy Bicycles be held responsible for direct, indirect or consequential damages, including, without limitation, damages for personal injury, death, property damage, or economic losses, whether based on contract, warranty, negligence, product liability or any other theory. Warranty claims made outside the country of purchase may be subject to fees and different terms or restrictions. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. Some countries and states do not allow limits to be imposed on the term of an implied warranty or upon consequential damages, and the parties’ rights may vary from country to country and from state to state.
Warranty Limitations and Exclusions
Although your Alchemy Bicycle was delivered your bike partially assembled, you are responsible for the final assembly and regular care and maintenance of your bicycles. To ensure a long life and durability, only use the bikes for its intended purpose and follow the maintenance schedule in the owner’s manual. The manufacturer’s instructions specify torque settings for bolts and well as provide a pre-ride safety checklist that should be followed before each ride.
Certain components may have limited warranties of their own that are not covered by Alchemy that may be offered by the component manufacturer, in which case we will refer you to the component manufacturer for service.
Please check your purchase documents and the component manufacturers’ websites for details. Alchemy does not provide warranty on items like bearings, derailleur hangers and/or rear shocks that come assembled with the frames. Alchemy’s warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, abuse, improper assembly, improper maintenance, alteration, collision, crash or misuse, including any use of the frame for riding conditions other than those specified for the frame, This warranty is void in its entirety by any modification of the frame, fork, or components. Paint is covered for manufacturing defects one year from point of purchase, but user accepts that a normal amount of paint fade may occur during this time frame and will not be covered. The paint warranty also does not include damage caused by strong solvents or adhesives used on the frame.
Alchemy is not responsible for any damages to you or others arising from riding, transporting or other use of your bicycle. In the event that your frame breaks or malfunctions, Alchemy Bicycles shall have no liability or obligation beyond the repair or replacement of your frame pursuant to the terms outlined in this warranty.
If your Alchemy is damaged because of a crash, but is out of the warranty period, Alchemy will offer a suitable replacement at a discounted charge to the original owner. Alchemy Bicycles does this at its sole discretion and reserves the right to refuse this offer where Alchemy Bicycles has reason to believe the damage was caused by abuse, intentional harm, that the claim misrepresents the actual circumstances, or otherwise. In order to honor the replacement, the damaged frame must be returned to Alchemy prior to the replacement and becomes the property of Alchemy Bicycles.
