Alchemy: Order Process

Whether you are ready to order, want to talk about the process, or want to discuss the benefits of an Alchemy handmade bicycle frame, pick up the phone and call us at 512.443.2900. We can discuss your riding style, fit, and personal preferences to help you develop your vision and design your dream bike.

Once you have decided on the right bike for you, it is time to complete the Alchemy Order Form. If you have any questions or would like our help completing the form, please e-mail us alchemy@alchemybicycles.com or call us at 512.443.2900. Once you submit your order, Alchemy will then contact you to confirm your order and the final details and price. At this point you will be asked to put a $500 deposit to guarantee your build position. This deposit will ensure your bike goes into production on your specified production date. 

We will use your order form to design and engineer the geometry (standard or custom) of your bicycle. James will develop your frame drawing with the specific angles and measurements required. All the details of your handcrafted bicycle, including powder coat, head tube badge, logo, parts, etc. will be determined and signed off on by you and James. Remember this is your custom bicycle. We will make revisions to the design until you are 100% satisfied. We will also be able to give you a firm price on your finished design. 

It will take no more than 6 weeks to complete your dream bike. Before shipping, James will personally inspect your bicycle frame for quality control and craftsmanship and screw on your 100% silver or 100% bronze head tube badge. We will then assemble your complete custom bicycle for minimal assembly when delivered to you.

When your handcrafted bicycle is built to your specifications and ready to be shipped, we’ll collect the balance due on the bicycle and determine the best shipping method to get your dream bike to you in pristine condition.
